I have just received a notice from the Compliance Coordinator Zoning Division saying I must stop renting my furnished DI house for less then 30 days. I live 6 hours away and just yrying to get a little rental income by renting weekly. What services do you offer and do you manage rental property?

Morning Steve — there arent that many furnished rentals on Daniel Island, but when we get closer to summer follow up and I can send you all the rentals on Daniel Island at that time. If you need to book earlier I suggest maybe Isle of Palms or Folly Beach. Have a good weekend – Bob

Short sales and foreclosures on Daniel Island only account for a small amount of the homes for sale. The biggest chunk of SS or bank owned homes is in the higher price points. There were, and are, a number of builders who didnt get the memo that they should stop building speculative homes and they got caught with inventory they couldnt sell.

I have had a good bit of success over the past couple of years in negotiating some pretty good deals for clients. Anyone that cares to go after a SS should prepare themselves for a wait in most cases — banks are in no hurry.
