Short sales and foreclosures on Daniel Island only account for a small amount of the homes for sale. The biggest chunk of SS or bank owned homes is in the higher price points.  There were, and are, a number of builders who didnt get the memo that they should stop building speculative homes and they got caught with inventory they couldnt sell.

I have had a good bit of success over the past couple of years in negotiating some pretty good deals for clients. Anyone that cares to go after a SS should prepare themselves for a wait in most cases --- banks are in no hurry.</description>
