Cochran Park

Located on the southwestern side of Daniel Island, Cochran Park is situated along the marsh. Its quiet streets afford gorgeous views and create a serene atmosphere. The homes are built with a southern historic viewpoint in mind, and include upscale features such as Brazilian cherry hardwoods and gourmet kitchens. A wonderful feature about many of the homes in Cochran Park is to-die-for views that many of the raised homes have and just a boat ride away from Cochran Park is the beautiful, natural Bellinger Island. On the central drive through Cochran Park, there are lovely palmetto trees that offer a tranquil setting. You can’t beat the amazing marsh views and pristine natural settings that make this neighborhood so wonderful. Come and see why it is one of Daniel Islands more popular neighborhoods. You won’t be disappointed.

Toward the South end of the island, on the left are luxury apartments and then you enter COCHRAN PARK. In the front, the homes are not elevated, but toward the back they are all elevated. These homes were built by a number of production builders, David Weekley, John Wieland and D R Horton. Some, further back in COCHRAN PARK are custom. One thing to note is the flood zone. Some are in a V zone and that will cost more in flood insurance. The homes toward the back are on the creek and river. Lot sizes range to about a quarter of an acre which is probably the largest lots you will see on Daniel Island. Most of the homes were built in the early to mid 2000’s. A few of the homes have docks. Only a few lots still available.
