Daniel Island Property

A new feature-film production company has been created on Daniel Island.

Called Creative Forge Productions, the new feature film company will produce mainly independent films. As of right now it has 2 films in production, Warriors and The Purpose of Winter.
The former is about teenagers and spirituality and is set in Myrtle Beach. The latter has to do with a woman dealing with her family’s history of mental illness.

The founders are Doug Coupe, Brad Jayne, Rob Gorman and Fred Baiz.
The company chose Charleston because according to the City Paper “Creative Forge believes Charleston is ready to be a center of the film industry.”
