On April 10-18 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Daniel Island, thousands will descend upon the 2010 Family Circle Cup. This year’s event marks the 10th year this tournament has been played in Charleston.
In front of a crowd of more than 4,000, the Stingrays won their seventh straight game, improving to 16-6-4 (36 points) on the season. They remain in first place in the ECHL’s South Division.
Over 650 volunteers are needed to staff the event, which will be televised live on Golf Channel. Volunteers ages 12 and up can serve in a wide range of areas, and there are many positions available for those who may not have golf knowledge but want to participate.

Daniel Island are all sponsoring this community-wide fitness initiative, which will begin July 8 and run through Sept. 30.
