New Contest for the 2007 Family Circle Cup
on January 8th, 2007 at 8:12 pmAccording to the Post and Courier, the 2007 Family Circle Cup in Daniel Island, South Carolina will have a new event this year. The tournament is adding the “Family Circle Cup Official Drink Contest.”
The purpose of the contest is to submit a beverage that reflects the taste and style of the Lowcountry and the Family Circle Cup. The official rules can be accessed by visiting www.familycirclecup.com. The winner will receive $100 in cash and tickets to the Family Circle Cup semifinals and finals. Also, the winning drink will be for sale at the event as well.
The Family Circle Cup even will be held April 7-15. It is the longest running women’s tennis tournament sponsored by the same company.
