Venus Williams Will Play–Daniel Island Family Circle Cup
on March 13th, 2007 at 6:10 pmVenus Williams will return this year to play at the Family Circle Cup. This will be Williams third appearance at this event. In 2004 she won the tournament. The event scheduled April 9-15 will include the following pros: Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Justine Henin, Martina Hingis, and Amelie Mauresmo. These players include five former World Number 1 players and the current top player in the world. All together these women have accomplished 26 Grand Slam singles titles. Amazing!
Venus William has had an injured left wrist and hasn’t played much competitive tennis since last October.
This is an event not to be missed. Hope you can come!
